A New Journey

I think that I am going to start blogging more about my life...as a graphic designer, a photographer, a daughter moving back into my mother's house, moving across the country to Arizona, and also as a friend.

Here are my thoughts for the day:
I am looking for jobs in Phoenix, and can't seem to snag anyone's attention. I'm not sure how to stand out in a sea of incredible artists.
I'm afraid of failure. I know that I am surrounded by people who will be encouraging through these next moves in my journey, but I am afraid of letting myself down.
A few things that I'm looking forward to...I'm excited to go bike riding on the sweet bike trails in the valley, going to coffee in the morning with my mom, seeking out new places to have a late night coffee with a great place to read, decorating my room and having a room for my art, hiking, driving with the windows down for most of the year, having a PUMA store close by, and meeting new people, among other things. :)

I am also going to post little quotes or encouraging notes so I can come back and read through these posts whenever I am needing a little extra oomph for the day.

Anne

Last week I got to spend some time with one of the girls that lived on my floor when I was a resident assistant at USF!It was easy to take pictures of Anne since she can smile on cue. :) She is so beautiful! Here is a little taste of the pictures we took as we walked around downtown.
